IFWT Mike Brown

Mike Brown was the most successful coach in the Cleveland Cavaliers history but he also had the best player in the world on his roster.  Once Brown failed to win a chip, he got the boot and Lebron flew the coop.  Now that things haven’t worked out and the Cavs fired Bryon Scott, they’re reportedly looking to bring Mike Brown back.  Read more after the jump.

The Cavaliers are interested in rehiring former coach Mike Brown to replace Byron Scott, a longtime NBA insider told The Plain Dealer today, and may move quickly for fear that other NBA teams will court Brown.

Despite what Lakers fans and others might think, Brown is actually a pretty good coach and this wouldn’t be a bad move for the Cavaliers.  Now as to the reported ‘high’ demand for Brown, this may be an agent’s doing.  Brown is also still getting paid $4 million a year from the Lakers so unemployment isn’t treating him too bad.
