Mama said knock you out!! It’s so appropriate that LL is narrating Floyd Mayweather’s one-hour documentary that will air on CBS this Saturday, April 27 at 8/7c.
LL Cool J narrates the film and this clip features the debut of the music icon’s new song with guitar God Eddie Van Halen “We’re The Greatest” from his upcoming album AUTHENTIC. Kobe Bryant even makes an appearance.

CBS will debut MAYWEATHER, a revealing one-hour documentary about the life of undefeated eight-time world boxing champion Floyd “Money” Mayweather and his rival, six-time world champion Robert “The Ghost” Guerrero on Saturday, April 27 (8:00-9:00PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network.  The special airs one week before the boxing event of the year, as SHOWTIME PPV presents “May Day: Mayweather vs. Guerrero,” on Saturday, May 4.

MAYWEATHER, narrated by “NCIS: Los Angeles” star LL COOL J (@llcoolj), tells the life story and career arc of the charismatic fighter, Floyd Mayweather (@floydmayweather), who is universally recognized as the world’s pound-for-pound best boxer with an undefeated record of 43-0.  The primetime special also examines the hard-working approach taken by his opponent, the fierce and accomplished world champion Robert “The Ghost” Guerrero (@Ghostboxing), who has endured incredible challenges throughout his career to reach this May 4th fight.

In addition to LL COOL J narrating MAYWEATHER, the documentary features his new song “We’re The Greatest,” featuring Eddie Van Halen, from LL COOL J’s highly-anticipated new album, AUTHENTIC, to be released on April 30, 2013.

“LL COOL J’s passion for boxing and his keen performing acumen combine to create the perfect voice to tell the complete life story of Floyd Mayweather,” said Executive Producer Ross Greenburg, who has produced multiple documentary series on the fighter since 2007. MAYWEATHER is an honest portrayal of the controversial and charismatic best pound-for-pound boxer in the world and a compelling look at his blue-collar, working-man’s opponent, Robert Guerrero.”
