MTV is working on releasing a one-hour TV pilot based on the Wes Craven’s Scream movie franchise. The network as been in talks with Dimension Films to actually bring on Wes Craven as the director for the pilot. The Scream reboot is slated to be released in the summer of 2014 if all things go well.
