After a long growing rivalry and months of trash talk, Danny “Swift” Garcia and Zab “Super” Judah faced off in a Showtime fight at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Garcia attacked early and scored a midround knockdown. He then fought off a late attack and resurgence by Judah to win the Unified Super Lightweight World Championship by a unanimous decision. Following Zab Judah’s loss to Danny Garcia, Judah admits there’s no real beef between the two. There was a lot of trash talk prior to the fight as is normal but it went on for months and got very heated. The two embraced following the fight and Judah acknowledged Garcia as a great fighter. Judah falls to 42-8 (29 KO) while Garcia remains undefeated at 26-0 (16KO)
