This hip-hop group will soon be inducted into the list of other rappers such as, Jay-Z, Eminem, and LL Cool J who has did a memoir. These books usually reveal information that most of us [fans] were clueless to, so I think this should be pretty interesting. Drop down bottom and check out who the group is.
It’s the BEASTIE BOYS! The “white-boy” rap group who started out in the 80s has decided to sign a deal with Spiegel & Grau publishing. Two of the original members, Mike D and Ad-Rock says that they were speaking of writing a memoir years ago, it just never went into play until now. It’s not going to be your ordinary memoir though. “I don’t want to do a straight memoir,” said Mike D. This life story will consist of ‘a loosely structured oral history featuring a mix of their voices, outside contributors and images.’ Even with Adam Yauch having passed away of cancer, I know he’ll be incorporated in more ways than one.
