Pusha T hit up NYC’s BB Kings last night for a performance will Fabolous on their Life Is So Exciting tour, and took a moment to chat with reporters backstage before showtime. While talking to AskMen, the G.O.O.D. Music rapper revealed an interesting tidbit about his CEO Kanye West and Jay-Z’s smash hit “N*ggas In Paris,” as well as some details on his sophomore album (despite the fact he’s yet to drop his debut.) Check out some highlights below!
On “NIP”:
PT: Yeah. [Kanye] sent me some stuff that I don’t always feel. It happens. Then he’ll go out of his way to prove you wrong. And he does sometimes…”N*gg*s in Paris.”
Steven Victor (Manager): Pusha said, “It sounds like a video game. Get that sh*t out of here!” But ‘Ye agreed.
PT: Yeah. You have to have that imagination sometime, and that’s something I’m learning. I’m so ready to rap and stuff that imagination don’t be kicking in.
On his next album:
PT: I really don’t know. I’m really on My Name Is My Name, and then my next album after that. I already got the whole mentality of it. I see it. It’s titled King Push. I don’t even think there’s going to be anybody on King Push.

Hella late. He spoke on that when cruel Sumner was out last year. Y’all probably posted about that last year as well.
Thankfully he wasn’t smart enough to take this track cuz I’m pretty sure he would’ve made it sound bad. There are plenty of whack rappers who had slamming tracks but just couldn’t capitalize on it due to corny rhymes. Positive dude wouldn’t have hit it out the park!
