John Legend is a very talented artist. When Legend croons, he executes it flawlessly, but I don’t know how this statement makes him look. Granted it’s his opinion, but I just don’t see it – or shall I say hear it. Drop down bottom and see who this songwriter has to compare Rick Ross to.
“I feel like Rick Ross is kinda like a soul artist in a way because the way he uses music is very soulful. I was listening to his album yesterday and he just knows how to pick the right music to put around his voice. He has a very soulful voice. He’s almost like an Isaac Hayes of Hip Hop or something,” says Legend. Where in the ‘BALD HEADED MEN‘ would he get that comparison from? Even after the explanation, I don’t get it. And I’m a fan of Rick Ross’ talent. I guess they could be compared in the looks department, but I think it stops there. I don’t hear SOUL when I hear Ross!
