NYPD Commissioner Ray Kelly has decided to make up words to defend the “stop-and-frisk” practice. The policy has been criticized for targeting only African-American and Latino males, in which numbers do show this. But Bloomberg claims “the number of minorities being stopped is “unfairly” being compared to the general population of African-American and Latino men.” Although Bloomberg has a case, there really is no excuse that of African-American and Latino men are being stopped more than any other race. According to Kelly, only 53 percent of African-Americans are stopped, and he says “Blacks are being Understopped.” Yea Alright.
