The two money makers, Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine sometime today will be donating $70miL to the University of Southern California for the Jimmy Iovine and Andre Young Academy for Arts, Technology and the Business of Innovation. The program will begin next year, 2014 and will entail entrepreneurship; technology, art, design and marketing. The vision and generosity of Jimmy Iovine and Andre Young will profoundly influence the way all of us perceive and experience artistic media. Our goal is to ensure that the academy is the most collaborative educational program in the world,” says USC President C.L. Max Nikias.
Lucky son-of-a-guns. If they would just put this towards someone’s student loan balance than the world would be good – I believe.
