According to a report, Best Buy is planning to give less shelf space to DVDs and Blur-rays and focus more on its digital platform. FYE wants to capitalize on what electronic retail giant is doing by offering more DVDs to steal those customers to its store instead. Best Buy is following the trend of the digital platform which is a faster means of creating venue and customers will turn quickly to the digital version, but sales for videos and especially rentals are still strong for companies like Netflix, Amazon, Redbox.
