I wish I could front and say I remembered this, but I def. do not. I saw this on Fox Sports this morning and thought I’d share. Anytime someone gets the best of Michael Jordan, it makes for an interesting story … BUT remember -MJ always wins in the end (see Dikembe Mutombo). Lol.

Really, it happened. It was 25 years ago in the country star’s charity classic, but His Airness bit on the move and turned into The Gambler, and Rogers, who was 50 at the time, made him pay, sinking the shot like a pro. Just watch:
Why did it take 21 years for the video, which has a whopping 17 likes (all by Bryon Russell, we assume), to come to YouTube, and another four years for it to come to our attention?

The best part is that in a longer highlight clip from the game, which also featured Dominque Wilkins, you get to see MJ’s competitive side take over after being put in the popcorn machine: On a drive by Rogers, Jordan swats his layup into the seats, then blows by him for the winning layup.
