Fred Smoot played nine seasons in the NFL, but one of the first things that comes to fans minds when you hear his name is his role in the Vikings “Love Boat” scandal. Well he stopped by Reddit yesterday and did a “Ask Me Anything” session and of course he was asked about it. You learn something new everyday. Lol. Check out what he had to say.

Smoot, who played for both the Washington Redskins (two separate occasions) and Minnesota Vikings during his nine year NFL career is more well known for his “Love Boat” chartering than his on-field performances.
You’ll probably recall back in 2005, Smoot put together a “cruise” which involved a handful of his Viking teammates. Smoot along with others rented a boat on Lake Minnetonka and hired prostitutes escorts to have a “sex party” on the boat. It of course got out of hand (shocking) which lead to charges being filed against Smoot and others, leading to the Vikings releasing the defensive back.
Fast forward to 2013:
Oral sex = “runnin through the okra patch.”
