WOW!! What an incredible NBA finals is all I can say. The Miami Heat defeated The San Antonio Spurs 95-88 last night in a heart pounding game 7 to win the NBA Championship, winning the series 4-3. If your a basketball fan you couldn’t of dreamed about a better Finals, regardless of who your favorite team is. We saw the star players such as Lebron & D-Wade for the Heat play like the stars they are as well as Tim Duncan & Tony Parker for the Spurs step up and play like stars at times during the series as well. We also saw role players like Kawhi Leonard, Danny Green for the Spurs and Ray Allen & Shane Battier for the Heat step up and show you can’t forget about them either during the series. Check out the highlights and more from an incredible series after the jump.

Lebron played like a man who knew his legacy was on the line last night as he won his second straight NBA Finals MVP, going off for 37 points and 12 rebounds and seemed to hit every jump shot he took in the second half. Dwayne Wade finally looked like the real D-Wade dropping 23 points and grabbing 10 rebounds himself. If your star players play like stars in game 7 like the Heat did, it is very hard to beat a team like that. As for the Spurs, they almost had the championship in their hands late in game 6 but let it get away. They played like the warriors they are last night, especially Tim Duncan who had 24 points and 12 rebounds to lead his team. He missed a very short hook shot with under a minute to go last night that would of tied the game, but sometimes the ball doesn’t bounce your way. He showed why he is probably the best power forward to play this game. Unfortunately for the Spurs, star point Guard Tony Parker was M.I.A. in MIA last night. He finished with only 10 points while be guarded by Lebron quite a bit. Kawhi Leonard showed the Spurs still have plenty of hope for the future despite some of their better players being older. The second year player showed he might be a future all star all series long, with a huge game 7 scoring 19 points and grabbing 16 rebounds, he earned the respect of everyone in the league. In the end, the Heat stand alone at the top for the second straight year, and whether you hate them or love them, they earned it with great basketball and the best player in the world leading them to it. Check out the highlights from game 7 and once again congratulations to the Miami Heat.
