This lightweight, ventilated, thin, washable cast designed by Jake Evill could change the way we repair our injuries. Although just a prototype for now this could be the new wave! The material is Cortex so it can be reused unlike plaster and is more appropriately shaped to fixing your specific injury. The cast would be printed out in multiple pieces and assembles with permanent fasteners. Could this be the new cast of the future?
