Today, a man was shot and killed along the side of a highway in Tampa, Florida. The killing is said to be caused by road rage. Police are currently searching for the “Road Rage Killer”.
Fred William Turner Jr., 47, was left dead on a Tampa highway today. After leaving a store, he called 911 to report a man with a gun was following him on the highway. Hillsborough County Sheriff David Gee stated, “During the time he was on the call with Highway Patrol, they actually heard the shooting. There were a series of shots.”
Road rage, reportedly, is what lead to Fred William Turner Jr.’s death. Police are unsure as to who started the conflict on the road, and they are currently looking for the gunman who fled the scene.
People really need to chill out while driving, so situations don’t escalate to something so extreme like what happened today.
