Near Groveland, California, a camp counselor was killed by a falling tree; leaving four others injured. Here the rest of the story from one of the survivors.
Annais Rittenberg, 21, was killed by a falling tree that was 53 inches in diameter at a camp near Yosemite National Park. Her co-worker, Lizzie Moore, and three others were also injured by the large tree fall. Moore said, “If I hadn’t moved, I don’t think I would be speaking to you right now.” Moore sustained few injuries including a fractured vertebrae, a fractured elbow, and five broken ribs.
Moore also stated, “At first I was really not sure at all what was happening. I heard some commotion, some screaming and then I ended up seeing the top of the tree moving around a lot, and then I saw it fall.”
Officials found no evidence of disease or rotting within the tree that fall. Rittenberg’s mother actually found out the sad news of daughter over the news. She called the hospital hoping that her daughter wasn’t hurt, but law enforcement notified her of the heart breaking news.

it is not good. i feel sad for her. we should take care of tree thus the tree will not fall itself or we have to make sure that if we are moving big tree then have to check whether there are any person is passing from that place or not. if so then we have to warn the person to be aware for this situation.
