On June 26th Sony filed a trademark application for what is called a “PlayStation TV.” But that wasn’t all the application entailed hit the jump for the full story ..
Apparently the trademark was filed under a service agreement meaning that this unknown device would be somewhat like a streaming provider kinda like Netflix hmm ? There is a lot of speculation but not much information to go on but people are guessing it could be a Playstation brand TV with an Apple TV esque integrated OS, imagine that. Or we could just be getting way ahead of ourselves for now this is all just speculation but everyone is very eager to see what Sony’s plan for this device will be.
