1962 Austin-Healey Sprite

Parents might have to put parental controls on their phones earlier than expected. The parents of 14 month old Sorella Stoute had to find out the hard way. The father of the toddler allowed her to play with his fun, not knowing she was able to open up the eBay app and place a winning bid for a 1962 Austin-Healey Sprite car. The father was unaware of this winning bid until he checked his email and saw an email from eBay congratulating him on his bid. He started freaking out but quickly put two and two together.

The parents laughed it off and decided to keep the car that she paid $225 for. Luckily she had purchased a car that wasn’t too far from her grandparents house and she didn’t purchase the expensive car her dad was looking at on the app. The father is planing to restore the car and has created an online fundraiser so that he could give the car to her on her 16th birthday.
