Although after the layoff of Piasentin the company planned on doing additional layoffs I don’t think they saw this coming. T.A. McCann who quit was in charge of all social networking effots at BlackBerry. Marc Gingras who also quit was in charge of revamping BlackBerry 10’s calendar and contacts app. It doesn’t look like the odds are in favor of the struggling smartphone vendor.
