The Wu’s very own U-God recently sat down with Huffington Post to discuss the current state of hip-hop, it’s future, and today’s big names while also giving us some insight on his latest project. While doing so, he drops off some advice to Mr. West –all out of love.

West, in U-God’s estimation, “is getting too far away” on “Yeezus”: “Tell him there’s no sound in space. He’s got to come back on planet Earth. Space is a vacuum. There’s no sound in space. Earth is where it’s at. Come back down baby, come back.”

His opinion is not uncommon, despite the numbered success that ‘Yeezus’ is catching. Golden Arms also spoke on Jay Z’s latest project, giving props to Mr. Carter for “adjusting to the digital age [and] being in a creative zone.”

As for the future, Baby U says “Kendrick got my blood boiling” much similar to the feeling he gets when he hears Nas, Prodigy, and Jay. Further stating, “everyone who is in touch with their individuality — I enjoy it. That’s what hip-hop is about.”

Be on the look out for U-God’s latest project “Keynote Speaker” set to drop today!
