Supporters of Muhammed Morsi filled a mosque in Cairo after learning of his removal by the army as the president of Egypt. The enraged followers filled the mosque and had a sit in, raising complaints in the area by residents. Morsi is the first democratically picked president in Egypt, yet has received much criticism during his time as president

“Mr Morsi is being held over allegations of links with Palestinian militants Hamas and plotting attacks on jails in the 2011 uprising that overthrew President Hosni Mubarak”.

Thousands have fled to the Tahrir Square, protesting and rallying against Morsi as well as those that are supporting him. In Alexandria five have died, leaving 72 injured, In Cairo 11 have been injured, authorities say that the those within the rally have now resorted to rock throwing. Due to the allegations brought up against Morsi, he is up for questioning for a 15 day period, said judicial officials.

Hopefully those rallying are able to remain safe during this period, because I do not think the rallies will stop until there is a final decision.
