Authorities stated that a robbery occurred early Saturday in a “racially diverse neighborhood” in Washington, the Adams Morgan neighborhood in the northwest quadrant of the nation’s capital. The robbery occurred when three African American men approached a Caucasian male and allegedly kicked him, taking his iPhone and Wallet in the process. Washington Metropolitan Police Officer Anthony Clay states that as the men were approaching the victim, they allegedly yelled out ” This is for Trayvon Martin”. The police will possibly treat the case as a hate crime and currently no arrest have been made. Im sure we’re all looking for our way of getting justice from the Trayvon Martin verdict, but if this is true, this is definitely not the way to go about it.
