Greg Jennings has been running his mouth quite a bit since he became a member of the Minnesota Vikings. Most of his comments have been directed towards his former team, the Packers and their players. He usually takes the punk way out and uses subliminal comments, but a few times this summer he had some things to say about Aaron Rodgers, his former quarterback. Well recently, Vikings coach Leslie Frasier told Jennings enough is enough with his mouth and to cut it out. So yesterday Jennings took the opportunity to apologize, but like I said, sort of. Hit the jump.

One of Jennings more direct comments about Rodgers was this:

“Don’t get me wrong, ’12’ is a great person. But when you hear all positives, all positives, all positives all the time, it’s hard for you to sit down when one of your teammates says, ‘Man, come on, you’ve got to hold yourself accountable for this.’ It’s hard for someone to see that now because all they’ve heard is I’m doing it the right way. I’m perfect. In actuality, we all have flaws.”

He said that a few weeks ago, but the comments seemed to be brought on by nothing specific. If anything it just made him seem like he was still emotional that the Packers didn’t offer him a contract extension and let him go, and he wasn’t sure how to direct his emotions. He never had a problem with Aaron when he was helping make Jennings look good on the field, or help him put a Super Bowl ring on his finger. But now he has an issue with how Rodgers carries himself? So after his new coach told him cut it out, Jennings said this:

“I don’t really recall saying anything negative about Aaron or anyone over there, but hey, I apologize.”

When asked if he would call Rodgers, Jennings replied “For what?” I’m apologizing now.”

He really is just coming off like a spiteful kid. I doubt his new coach is happy with the way he apologized either. Just another way to carry on. Watch the video below.
