In a recent interview with BANG Showbiz, Darryl “DMC” McDaniels announced that it would be disrespectful to Jam-Master Jay if Run-DMC ever made music again. Hip Hop Group Run-DMC consisted of Darryl “DMC” McDaniels, Joseph “Run” Simmons and Jam-Master Jay. McDaniels said, “I don’t think Run-DMC will ever record again. Run-DMC was Run, DMC and Jam-Master jay. We can’t replace our drummer, our keyboardist and all of that.” Understandable!
