The rumors were floating in the air, however back in June, Drake confirmed the collaboration with Jhene Aiko. The singer is set to appear on Drake’s upcoming, Nothing Was The Same, and according to Jhene, Drake is a, “magical being – like a unicorn or something.” Drizzy also tells us what the title of the track is NOT going to be. Even though she didn’t say too much about what’s to come on that album, Jhene is clearly excited about, especially since she had a MAJOR helping hand in the process. “Recording the song and working with him, period, was a momentous occasion,” says the “Bed Peace” singer. “He is somebody I like to listen to to get inspired and helps me write from an honest place. Recording that song was more of a personal experience because we sat with [Drake producer Noah] 40 [Shebib] and I got to help pick the beat, take it home and record to it. That was more of a collaboration than other tracks I’ve done,” she continues.
