Big Sean talks being around Detroit hoods.
Successful rappers are always being questioned if they’re really from the place they say they are. Now, Big Sean is being questioned about his hometown Detroit, and he said what to the naysayers?

In an interview between Danny Brown and The Fader, they discussed if Big Sean is really from the hood and Brown stated, “Many people from or live in Detroit don’t consider him from the area. Sean was probably spoiled and sheltered as a child.”

It’s unclear if Big Sean aimed his statements towards Danny Brown in an interview with Hip Hop Nation, but anyway, Big Sean has this to say about accusations of not being around Detroit hoods, “Fuck whoever talking about Big Sean and don’t know nothing about Detroit or the streets of Detroit. I be in there. Matter of fact, not only do I be there and be in the hood, I be helping the hood and giving back to the hood.”

Big Sean also stated, “I’m the only one out of ya’ll rappers or even new rappers who was paying for Thanksgiving dinners last year, buying Christmas gifts. So if you ever talking shit about me like I ain’t be up in the hood, nigga you crazy.”
