30-year-old Alexis Wright has a pretty peculiar story about her entrance into the life of prostitution. Hailing from the state of Maine, she was allegedly persuaded by her business partner, Mark Strong. Strong –who worked as a private investigator– told Wright that he was on special assignment for the state of Maine and that he had hired her as his undercover agent. It went so far, that Wright used her Zumba studio as a brothel to “catch sexual deviants.” Check out more details after the jump.

It seems that for a short time, Mark Strong made pimping pretty easy. Working as a private investigator, he simply told his “business partner,” Alexis Wright, to have sex with over 100 men and that it would be a part of an elaborate sting against prostitution –backed by the state of Maine. Despite her claims, it seems that prosecutors didn’t appear to buy it. But, it could have been worse. Luckily, for her, she was able to plead guilty to a lesser charge. As for Strong, he only received 20 days in jail for promoting prostitution.

The ordeal isn’t over yet. Each of the men that Wright slept with are now on trial for taking part in the “Sting.” Wright has been called to testify, but her actions have her utilizing her fifth amendment rights.
