Fairfield residents became alarmed when cable power outages began taking over their city on the same day that the series Breaking Bad was set to air. Residents responded to the cabe outages by calling police officials and declaring this an emergency!
“Fairfield police say they received numerous 911 calls about a cable outage that hit parts of southwestern Connecticut Sunday night”.
Fairfield officials took to their Facebook and stated that the cable outages were “neither an emergency or a police related concern.” and also emphasized that residents should dial 911 strictly for life-threatening emergencies.
Resident’s responded through comments, expressing how low it was for those who called in the outage as an emergency yet some felt different. Some responded to the allegations of a cable outage not being an emergency by stating:
“Clearly Fairfield PD doesn’t watch Breaking bad”
“We take our ‘Breaking Bad’ seriously here in CT”
I guess Fairfield officials are asking Breaking Bad fans to tread lightly, when it comes to dialing them!
