A Saudi prince is fed up with the situation in Syria. John Kerry recently announced that the Syrian government was killing their own people with chemical weapons, which violates international law. The civil war between the rebels and the government has been going on for over 2 years, with 2 million refugees spread all over the the world. Now the situation has come to a breaking point. Saudi Arabia’s Prince Bandar bin Sultan al-Saud, who is well known in Washington as well as the Middle East, is putting his money where his mouth is. He has pledged to fully fund any nation willing to defeat the Syrian government so the astounding amount of refugees can return to their country. Not only has he promised money and arms, he’s been jetsetting and meeting with heads of state to see how they can get involved in the situation. Will it work? The Syrian people need this desperately.
