IFWT_Mayweather-fight

Damn Oscar, you’re still thinking about that fight in 2007?  Just take that L!  It’s no secret that there’s bad blood between Floyd Mayweather and Oscar De La Hoya, so this prediction shouldn’t come as a surprise. I definitely do NOT agree with it.
Check out what Oscar had to say about Mayweather’s fight against Saul “Canelo” Alvarez coming up next month & let us know what you think!

Golden Boy Promotions President Oscar De La Hoya expects WBC/WBA junior middleweight champion Saul “Canelo” Alvarez  to score a knockout victory over Floyd Mayweather Jr. on September 14th at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. And De La Hoya says Canelo should do it in eight rounds. De La Hoya fought Mayweather in 2007 and lost a very close twelve round split decision.

“You have the 2 biggest names in boxing facing each other. There will be fireworks. You will see a good fight, a solid fight  You have the guy with the torch and the guy who is going to get the torch…and everyone knows it,” De La Hoya said.

“Mayweather got the decision but I feel that I beat him. Canelo is so calm and mature. Nothing gets to him. He is focused. I tell him to stay focused. And keep pumping your jab. That is the key. My world changed after I beat Chavez. Canelo is experiencing the glory and ahead of his time. If he doesn’t knock Floyd out in less than eight rounds, I will be very surprised.
