As stated before NFL teams have to get down to a 53-man roster so cuts will be announced all day until the 6 pm deadline. Latest up on the chopping block is quarterback Vince Young. Read more after the jump.
It appeared that embattled quarterback Vince Young was getting another shot at the game when he was given a workout and subsequently signed by the Green Bay Packers. He had to prove himself however to make it onto the team and basically become Aaron Rodgers clipboard holder but apparently he wasn’t even good enough for that. Young tweeted this out today:

Through four exhibition games, he finished 26 of 49 for 218 yards with one touchdown and a 71.6 passer rating. He rushed for 70 yards on nine attempts. According to the coach and the rest of the team, Young had studied the playbook hard and tried to prove himself but unfortunately it just wasn’t enough. Young’s time in the NFL may be over but I can think of a few teams who’s backup quarterbacks are worse than he is *cough Buffalo Bills cough*.
