Outrageous news out of California. 32-year-old Sarah Ann Stephens is now being charged with 2nd degree murder and felony child endangerment after her eight-month-old baby died of an overdose from methadone, xanax, and opana (oxymorphone). Unlike the reckless grandmother that intentionally rubbed her grandson’s gums with methadone, killing him, Stephens’ son ingested the lethal combination of drugs from her very own breast milk. California mother –Sacramento to be exact– Sarah Stephens is being hit with the intense charges because she was allegedly aware of the high amounts of drugs in her system, according to officials. Apparently, it was initially believed that the baby was a victim of Sudden Infant Death Syndrome. However, it was later revealed in the toxicology report that eight-month-old Ryder Salmen died of a prescription drug overdose. According to the Sacramento Bee, a pathologist told a detective that “the drugs were at a level that would have caused an adult addict to be high.”
