Oh, Gucci Mane! Publicity stunts are sooo yesterday! The troubled Atlanta rapper has been on a rampage on Twitter the last couple of days, throwing seemingly unprovoked shots at just about anyone he’s crossed paths with in the music and entertainment industry. No one was safe, not his former Brick Squad team, not his former management, not his label (which we learned in the process is also “former,”) and certainly not the ladies.

Tonight we learned that there’s a method to Gucci’s madness though, as a tweet sent just a little while ago revealed the reason he wanted all eyes on him. It’s sad, really, because it truly only sends one message loud and clear: he’s pining for relevancy by any means necessary, and his career just isn’t what it was.
