Hiccup Girl Guilty

Jennifer Mee, a Florida woman that became famous on daytime television for her uncontrollable hiccups, was found guilty of first degree murder Friday night and will serve life in prison. In 2010, she lured 22 year old Shannon Griffen to an abandoned house, under the impression that he was buying marijuana. When he got there, two of Mee’s friends attempted to rob Griffen but shot and killed him. Fortunately, Jennifer was not able to get away with murder like her Sanford neighbor. The attorneys for Jennifer Mee argued that she suffered from schizophrenia and Tourette’s Syndrome. During the trial, a court psychiatrist determined her intelligence was “low normal”. Mee’s co-defendants, Laron Raiford was convicted of life in prison and Lamont Newton, who was dating Mee at the time, has yet to go to trial.
