After serving only 1 year of her 5-year sentence, Teen Mom’s Amber Portwood will soon be a free woman.

The 23-year-old was on her best behavior while behind bars for a bad drug addiction (of which she opted to do time for rather than get treatment, which was required from previous arrests and parole violations), and it looks like it paid off!

Taking to his Twitter this week, Amber’s brother Shawn confirmed his sister would be released from the Indiana Department of Corrections on November 6, 2013.

I’m sure Amber’s 4-year-old daughter, Leah, and on-again/off-again beau Gary Shirley are loving this news!
