Floyd Mayweather was filled with holiday spirit but the giving ended when it came to details about what may come next in his boxing career.
…when it came to his boxing career, the pound-for-pound king from Grand Rapids only hinted that it won’t be long before we know who fills in the blank for Mayweather vs. The Other Guy next May.
“Next week. I’m looking forward to next week,” Mayweather said. “But as for me, right now, I’m not thinking about boxing.”
…Mayweather made it clear after that fight that he would take a vacation until after Thanksgiving, and fighting wasn’t much on his mind the day before the holiday — and certainly not anything that involved Manny Pacquiao, his archnemesis who decisioned Brandon Rios nine days ago.
