Shots were fired at Arapahoe High School in Centennial, Colorado on Friday afternoon, where two victims were left injured, according to local news reports. The unidentified gunman, who was a student at the school, was found dead due to what’s being reported as “self-inflicted gunshot wounds.” The Sheriff released a statement stating that the gunman’s motive was to confront a specific teacher.

Ironically enough, the school is located down the road from the Aurora movie theater where gunman James Holmes left 12 people dead in 2012 and just 15 miles away from Columbine High School. Reports stated that the call of an “active shooting suspect” was received at about 1:00 P.M. before being dispatched to the police. Currently, all Littleton Public Schools are on lock-down until further notice and no suspect has been taken into custody at this point.
