IFWT Noah x Perkins

On Thursday night after the Chicago Bulls suffered a 107-95 loss to the Oklahoma City Thunder, Joakim Noah was invited into the Thunder’s locker room by his former teammate Thabo Sefolosha.  Kendrick Perkins however wasn’t having it and promptly kicked Noah out of the locker room.  Of course the news got out and made it’s rounds prompting a response from Noah about the incident.

Thibodeau, who coached Perkins with Celtics, isn’t surprised at his actions. Said doesn’t mind former teammates visiting Bulls locker room.  Noah admits he shouldn’t have been in OKC locker room, calls Perkins “an angry dude.”  Noah shows savvy regarding beat writers: “I know you guys are probably bored right now. We’re losing and there’s nothing else to talk about.”

How a player may feel about having an opponent in the locker room after the game varies with each player but I think it’s kind of an unwritten rule that it’s a no no.  Noah is right on one thing though, the beat writers don’t have much else to write about right now.
