Rex Ryan is a good coach and he’s done what he can but things just haven’t worked out with the New York Jets and it may be time to part ways. Ryan senses that his time might be up too and gave a little message to his players.

Rex Ryan told his players in team meeting last night that word on street is that he’s getting fired and asked players to fight with him these last 2 weeks.
The Jets are pretty much out of playoff contention and will face the Cleveland Browns this week and the Miami Dolphins in the final week. I’m not sure if the last two weeks will weigh in on Ryan’s job safety but it would be nice to see the Jets rally behind him.
