A 17 year old pregnant Chicago teen was found fatally shot within a bank of snow on Christmas day, hit the jump for more.
Officials are currently investigating the tragic murder of a pregnant teen, Eva Casara, who was tragically shot to death on Christmas Day. Miraculously, medics were able to save her unborn baby girl, who was named Laylani, delivered at 1lb, 5 oz.
According to the Chicago Sun-Times, Eva Casara of Chicago was found gunned down in the snow between two homes about 8 p.m. in the 1100 block of East 152nd Street in Dolton, Ill. She had been shot once in the back of the head. Police say they believe Casara was shot somewhere nearby before being brought to where she was found, WGN reports. She may have been there for as long as 40 minutes before being discovered. HP
The motive and suspect(s) is still unknown, officials are asking anyone that knows any information to contact Dolton police at (708) 201-3200.
