Looks like there’s something in the air in Cleveland because the people out there are NOT right one bit. The ex-neighbor of Ariel Castro, the man who kidnapped and brutally raped three females for ten years, has been found guilty on 298 counts of rape, kidnapping, and murder from crimes he committed in the 90s. Two of his victims were his own daughters, who ended up speaking out at court about their horrific experiences from their father, Elias Acevedo. One of the daughters opened up by saying, “You have changed my life forever. You robbed me of my childhood. I have lived in fear but I will no longer.”
The 49-year-old also admitted to murdering 30-year-old Pamela Pemberton, who was found strangled to death back in 1994, and 18-year-old Christina Adkins who was 5-months pregnant at the time.
While speaking out in court, Acevedo looked at the families of his victims and said “I can’t describe the regret and shame I have for what I’ve done. I wish I could bring your daughters back.”
Acevedo has been sentenced to 445 years in prison with no chance of parole.
SMH.. stay FAR FAR away from whatever block they lived on. May he rot in jail miserably.
