A New Year’s Day explosion in a Minneapolis, building housing 10 apartments and a grocery store, has left 14 residents hospitalized, 6 with critical injuries and 3 missing. Officials are working on finding the 3 missing people, after worried family members, were not able to locate their loved ones at the hospital.

The cold, windy weather added fuel to the fire, making it tough on firefighters trying to tame the chaos. The original source of the fire, is still unknown:

“Ahmed Muse, one of five owners of the grocery store, told the Star Tribune there was “an electrical shock” in the building, and police were called about 8 a.m. CT. While he was outside with the officers, an explosion on the second floor blew out the windows, scattering glass on the street below, he said”
