I know the 99% of non-techies could care less about this, but in about 4 to 5 years, when everyone and there moms has some sort of 4K TV, and mobile devices have gone past retina, you will care, a lot!
YouTube has announce to make it’s self 4K ready it will develop a format called VP9, and the beautiful thing about it is the new format will use LESS bandwidth than than current video format’s(H.265)! Which means you’ll have a beautiful glorious picture projected from your mobile device to a 4K TV and NOT go over your 4.5GB data plan!!!
Now if you have a 4K TV now, you might be able to see how great this looks:
But the data is still high right now 0_o
That is fantastic…..less bandwith for a clearer video is cool…soon this will come to playstation
