Everyone was surprised when the Cleveland Cavaliers chose Anthony Bennett as the No. 1 overall draft pick. It was thought that maybe the Cavs saw something in Bennett that people missed but so far that hasn’t been the case. Instead Bennett has made a case for one of the worst No. 1 picks in NBA history. The ever outspoken Gary Payton was a guest on Fox Sports Live and took the opportunity to give Bennett some tough love and advice.
“I’m not trying to criticize you. I’m telling you the truth,” Payton said as he told the “fat”, “overweight” player to get in the gym. Bennett is averaging just 2.4 points on 27% shooting this year.
