The new project, Piata is on the way, and as far as Freddie Gibbs goes, he’s laying it all on the table. “I will show you my flaws,” he says. “I’ll show you what I’ve done wrong and what I’ve fucked up at. I don’t regret shit, but I’ll show you the things I’m not proud of.”
Madlib mentions that his “stuff” has more of a, “human feel, so it might slow down or speed up.” If your not a Doom or Freddie type of rapper, it wouldn’t be for you.
The project is slated as, “a gangster Blaxploitation film on wax.” Talk about descriptive. At least we understand who they’re trying to appeal to. Find out when you can grab a copy, after the jump.
