Everyone has had those moments where your levels of anxiousness increase, causing for thought overload and overall feeling of discomfort. Here are a few natural tips, to help soothe those nervous thoughts and anxious feelings, below.

1. Increasing your Omega 3 fatty Acid intake when anxious, serves as a calming substitute for any anxiety medication! Increasing the Fatty Fish, or Omega 3 intake in your diet can with the feelings of nervousness in the long run, although Omega 3 supplements can also be taken.

2. Chamomile Tea, has also been known to soothe the mind, when feeling jumpy. The tea itself has been an ancient healing remedy, so whenever you mind is on the go, stop, and grab some tea!

3. increasing B vitamin intake, such as eggs for example. When your body is lacking Vitamin B, you tend to feel uneasy, confused, irritable, and anxious. Eggs are a major plus as they are one of nature’s richest sources of choline, a crucial B vitamin for brain health.

4. Probiotics, for example many yogurts, are thought to help ease anxiety. Probiotics are known to help food digestion, a mice study has shown that it has also relieved stress, anxiety, and depression from the rodents. Although more study is needed, it doesn’t hurt to pick up a cup of the good stuff, trying it out yourself!

5. Green Tea is one of my personal favorite soothers, and anxiety relievers. Green Tea is known to be rich in the Amino Acid, L-theanine, which is linked to having calming effects. “In one study, taking 200 milligrams of L-theanine before a test helped anxiety-prone university students stay calm.”
