Glen Davis and the Orlando Magic reportedly reached a buyout agreement.  Both the Brooklyn Nets and Los Angeles Clippers were in strong pursuit of the veteran forward but it appears the Clippers won the battle.

Davis is expected to clear waivers at 5 p.m today which will clear the way for him to sign with the Clippers according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports.

The Nets wanted to reunite and team up Davis with Kevin Garnett but he will reunite with coach Doc Rivers instead.  Davis played with the Boston Celtics from 2007-2011 and averaged 7.6 points and 4.1 rebounds in 21.0 minutes during that time.

Davis obviously decided the Clippers were a better contender and a better frontline with Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan.  Davis averaged 12.1 points and 6.3 rebounds with the Orlando Magic and will be a good addition to the team.
