IFWT Jimmer Fredette

Jimmer Fredette spent three seasons with the Sacramento Kings but never quite found a role with the team.  After being unsuccessful with trying to trade him before the deadline, Fredette and the Kings negotiated a buyout.  Fredette will clear waivers at 5 pm and if he does he already knows what team he will sign with.

Fredette has told management that he will sign with the Chicago Bulls.  It’s a perfect match since the Bulls are already good defensively but need additional scoring.  Fredette is known to be weak on the defensive end but is shooting 49.3% from three-point range and knocks down 55.9 percent of his catch-and-shoot attempts.

As I said before the Bulls have enough good players on the defensive end to make up for Fredette’s shortcomings but it’ll still be interesting to see how many minutes he plays especially with a coach like Tom Thibodeau.

The Bulls are currently 32-26 with the third spot in the Eastern Conference.
