Yesterday, IFWT reported that a man in “black face” pretending to be Kim’s fiance, Kanye West, had heckled her during her time at the Vienna Ball in Austria on Thursday. The impersonator has now apologized for the “misunderstanding.”
TMZ has identified the “black face” man has Austrian comedian Chris Stephan. He was hired to “work the event” during Kim Kardashian’s guest appearance.
He issued an apology on his Facebook saying, he’s not a racist and is ‘incredibly sorry’ about the incident.
Stephan goes on to say that “his mockery of the rapper was misunderstood, and he didn’t intend to make Kim Kardashian flee the Vienna Ball on Thursday night by poking fun at her fiancé.”
Kim was reportedly paid $500,000 to be the guest of Austian billionaire Richard Lugner for the ball.
