Remember Jen Setlter and her “Instafamous” booty? The “belfie” queen now has a spread the April 2014 issue of Vanity Fair.
With more than 2 million followers and now 383 post on Instagram, Setler has been posting pictures of herself working out in the gym and taking #Belfies (butt selfies) since about March 2012.
Vanity Fair decided to recognize the Instagram star with a photo shoot, and an article named “Rear Admirable” in the April 2014 issue.
In the article, VF shares the reason for Setler being in the magazine, and where to put critics.
“Selter is here to inspire. When fans recognize her #seltering—posing for her iPhone with a leg raised and buttocks in full focus—on park benches and subway stairways, they tell her she’s inspired them to go to the gym that day. And for that, it’s all worth it. Along with the knowledge that she has sent one more young woman to the treadmill, she’s also raking in sponsorships, free gear, and, most importantly, followers by the thousands. The catcallers, the X-rated commenters, the feminist critics, though? File them under #haters.”
